The world produces about 26 million tons annually so that China alone produces fourteen million tons annually, thus it is the most productive country of it, then Mexico comes with a production of 1.7 million tons, followed by Indonesia with 1.1 million tons, and Egypt comes in the eighth level with a production of 475 thousand tons.

As for dried hot pepper, India is the first country to produce it, as it produces annually one and a half million tons, and 32% of it is dried annually from well-known products, which are served in all Egyptian dishes.
